Santa discovered his knees don't hurt when he squats properly - even in sub-zero weather!

Old Kris Kringle isn’t getting any younger, and that famous belly certainly isn’t doing the jolly gentleman any favors when he’s climbing up and down chimneys with bags of presents. And his knees? They get pretty sore climbing the stairs to the workshop.

After seeing a few elves overhead squatting giant candy canes and dragging his sled around the North Pole as part of a workout, Santa decided to check out this CrossFit thing.

The Internet service isn’t so great up at the North Pole, so it took Santa a while to figure things out. But he did, and after checking out CrossFit.com, he decided to open his own affiliate in hopes of getting himself and his elves fit for the holidays.

Leading up to Dec. 25, Santa Claus will be posting his workouts here for all the world’s merry CrossFitters to see. If you want to participate, follow along with Santa and post your times and loads to comments.

Happy holidays from CrossFit North Pole!
